Notes on abbreviations for "United States History"[edit | edit source]
- for course titles we will us "US History" as opposed to "U.S. History"
- for generic references to the "History of the United States" (which is the Wikipedia wording), we will use ""US history" (i.e, not a course title)

- we will refer to the "United States of America" as either "US" or "USA
