  • for generic references to the "History of the United States" (which is the Wikipedia wording), we will use ""US history" (i.e, not a course title)

Other uses of "United States of America"[edit | edit source]

  • we will refer to the "United States of America" as either "US" or "USA
    • instead of "U.S." or "U.S.A."
  • however, we will refer to the United States Constitution as the ''U.S. Constitution"
